It has been a very busy lead up to summer. Here are just a couple of the fun and exciting things the Telecine team were involved in.
This year, the International Association of Business Communicators (www.iabc.com) held their annual conference in Montreal. Telecine was thrilled to be there along with more than 1,000 professionals attending from around the globe.
Based on polling many business professionals for their opinions and experience, Telecine President, James Fine, shared insight into “How to leverage the great power of digital signage for good.” The focus was on: best practices, avoiding costly errors, and leveraging the best of current technology and content.
This was a unique opportunity for many organizations, assisting them in identifying the next steps toward installing or improving their digital signage.
Telecine also showed-off scale-models of several projects in process. Mini-projectors displayed content on mini-screens and computer-controlled lighting was synchronized to the content. A great way to show how spaces (even miniature ones) can be activated and energized with current technology and creativity.
The same week as IABC, Telecine presented in Las Vegas at RealComm (www.realcomm.com) – a conference that pairs commercial and corporate real estate people with technology providers.
Telecine’s technical director Stéphane Bastien shared video of some of Telecine’s most iconic projects and emphasized the importance of proper planning. The best results are achieved when content, display technology, and ‘day 2’ issues are discussed and planned early.
